On September 30, 2021, Arlington High School Teachers will be hosting a Virtual Open House from 6:00-8:00 pm and New Family Orientation from 4:30-5:30 pm. We found that more folks were able to attend when the Open House was remote, and we also know that many new families would like an opportunity to visit the school, so we are offering these two formats.
Open House – September 30– 6:00-8:00 pm – All Remote
This is an opportunity for teachers to lay out the curriculum for the year and classroom expectations. If you have specific questions for a teacher, we recommend that you contact the teacher separately to set up a meeting. Conferences will be in November for short individual meetings.
Teachers will send links for their Open House presentations via email and using the email addresses stored in PowerSchool. That is the same email that we are using to send you this message. You may be asked to register in advance for the meeting and there may be a waiting room as part of the presentation. Some reminders for sign up:
- You may need to check spam for your invitations.
- Don’t sign up at the last minute, a bad idea that can result in a lock-out.
- You should test your Zoom setups beforehand, earlier is better.
