AHS XC Virtual 5K – Run for your community!

Hey everyone!
The Girls’ and Boys’ Cross Country Teams are hosting a (safe, socially-distant) Virtual 5k to help raise money to support the team and raise funds for COVID-19!
You can check out the website here for any questions you may have, but here’s the quick rundown (ha!)
WHEN: Anytime between 5 am Friday, 6/26 and 5 am Monday, 6/29
WHERE: Literally anywhere in the world, so long as it’s 5k (3.1 miles)
WHY: We’re donating 30% of our proceeds to the One Chelsea Fund, whose mission is to “help families and individuals who are severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.”
 
HOW MUCH:  $10 . As mentioned above, 30% of that will go directly towards the One Chelsea Fund. Additional donations are also welcome!
WHY ELSE: Oh yeah, you heard right. We got prizes. There’s gift cards, and I’m hand-making custom t-shirts for the fastest male, female, and non-binary finishers. Plus you can challenge your friends, family, neighbors, kids, and coaches as well.

Congratulations Seniors! Graduation Caravan Makes Us Ponder Proud!

Thank you to the Arlington Police Department for your assistance with the Senior Graduation Caravan. Your expertise in route planning was a necessity and your good cheer and Ponder Pride helped make for a wonderful event.

Thanks to the Arlington Fire Department for loaning us the Mighty Quint. Last, thank you to Ms. Begin for figuring this out and to all of ourteacher and community volunteers.
