Last Blast Envelope Stuffing

Hello AHS Families -Our first volunteer opportunity to help with the Last Blast will take place on Thursday March 5th at 7pm in the conference room across from the Lowe Auditorium.  We just need folks to help stuff the envelopes with the donation requests for the Last Blast.  If you are new to AHS, the Last Blast is our overnight party for our graduated seniors that night of their graduation.  This year the event will be held on June 6th and you will get lots of emails in the next few months asking for your help with either setup, overnight support and cleanup.  Also mark your calendars now for the planning meetings.  If you have any questions feel free to email Lori Pescatore at loripescatore@hotmail.com

Those Who Can,Teach” Art Exhibit

Congratulations to members of the APS staff (Kayla McKenna, Polly Ford, and Aimee Archambault) who are part of the “ at the Nave Gallery in Somerville. Whoever thought up the uninformed insult, “Those who can’t, teach”, has never met the Arlington Public School art teaching staff or thousands of other art teachers who practice what they teach and who are devoted to their own art making.
I took the liberty of attaching images of your exhibited work and I hope everyone will click on the link below to get more information about this important exhibit.
